Leah Lawler
Leah Lawler enlisted in the Army at the age of 19 in 1991 and served until 2002 where she transferred to the RAAF until discharge in 2006.
In 1999 she corps transferred to Military Police so she could pursue her first job choice as a Military Working Dog Handler.
Glenn Kolomeitz
Glenn Kolomeitz is a lawyer and former Army officer living in Gerroa with his wife Emma – a GP in practice in Kiama – and their two children, Nicholas and Lara.
Glenn joined the military in 1986 and completed trade training as an aircraft technician, working on Blackhawk, Iroquois and Kiowa helicopters. He did his Year 12 in the Army and was subsequently commissioned as an officer, serving as a military police officer and investigations manager.
Chris Allen
Chris Allen is a former Army Major living in Kiama with his wife Sarah – a successful life coach – and their two sons, Morgan and Rhett.
Chris has held other important commissions such as the Sheriff of NSW and Chief Operating Officer for Stadiums NSW. In addition to these achievements, Chris is a successful action writer with his well read Intrepid series featuring super trooper character Alex Morgan.
Shane Kempton
Coming from a military family and having served himself – including time working within the Australian Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) – Shane has first-hand experience with our returning defence personnel and some of the challenges they face transitioning back into the civilian community.
Shane served for approximately five years full-time and then re-enlisted in the Army Reserves in 214. His Grandfather and his Great Uncle served in WW2, and their father served in WW1.
